A lot has been happening at the Marshfield Stoney River Memory Care Community. As you can see, the exterior framing of the building has been completed, 90% of the windows have been installed, and about 70% of the roof has been shingled. There is also a lot going on in the building. The cement slab has been poured and it has been completed in about 75% of the building. Also, the plumbing that needs to go into the ground has been completed throughout the building. These are two very important phases of the construction, which means the rest of interior construction can now begin. Over the next 2 weeks, spray foam insulation will be applied to the underside of the roof on the inside of the building, and the framers will begin building interior walls. On the exterior of the building, stone masonry will be applied to the bottom one foot of the exterior walls all the way around the building. This will be followed closely by the siding being added to the building. This is by far the most exciting time during the construction of the community because there are so many things going on at one time.
